Eason Marine has progressively developed a series of navigation Buoys
for a wide range of locations from inner habours and river to most
demanding offshore tidal applications.Eason Marine is continually evaluating new materials and components with a view to improving the buoys.
The Capability to service and repair with lower service boat
costs is achieved by the introduction of an innovative Service
Exchange Tower (SET). This reduces the downtime required
to maintain the Buoy. All Buoys are also designed with safety
in mind, for example non-slip surfaces can be applied to

section, and safety handdrails ca be attached to the
Daymark where appropriate. The Buoys are highly
durable and have a long lifecycles.
Materials
Floatation unit, and other key components, manufactured from rotationally moulded polyethylene with optimum E.S.C.R (Environmental Stress Crack Resistance)
Pre-coloured virgin polymers with UV stability
Robust wall thickness
Collars filled with marine safety approved close-cell foam
Steel work galvanised, as standard, to BS EN ISO 1461-1999
Construction
Each Buoy has been carefully designed and tested using the latest in CAD and electronics technology. This helps to deliver high performance, long lasting and reliable Buoys, that can be simply installed and easyly maintained. Each component part can be simply transported and quickly fixed with the lasted in high security bolts. The versatility of the design allows for additional float collars to be added doubling the reserve buoyancy. All Components are replaceable or interchangeable, and where possible standardised to minimise the stocks of spare parts
Generally each Buoy will comprise of the following, although there are flexible options:
Float Collar Split (except for EM 1250) for ease of installation and maintenance Daymark
Service Exchange Tower, incorporating PLUG-IN electric CE marked, battery & solar panels
Lantern - high performance Sealite
Radar Reflectors offering a peak RCS of up to 60 sq mtrs reflection
